Our kennel is located in Brocton, New York, Southwest of Buffalo along the shores of Lake Erie.
It is dedicated to preserving the multi-purpose IWS. We concentrate on confirmation, obedience and hunting, helping these Irish to showcase some of their many talents. We have had pups go onto careers in fly ball, agility and tracking as well. Our goal is to have an "all around " IWS, one that preserves the old fashioned standard of a dog that can do anything asked of it.
Our kennel was started in 1988 with our first IWS, Am/Can. Ch. Castlehill's Go Quadrifolio CD JH CGC TDI (Lucky). He was soon joined by Ch. Poole's Ide Wilnbris Hi Hope CD JH WC CGC TDI (Maggie) and their children Ch. Eire's All Gotta Cheer CD JH CGC (Woody) and Ch. Eire's Amanda Go Cadence CD JH CGC (Cady).
Our kennel has grow to include 10+ IWS right now, all different ages, in different stages of training.

Eire's Murphee Mullownee

(Ch. Eire's Bond'james Ernesthill CD JH CGC x Ch. Realta's Revolution at Eire)Born 1/ 13/ 05

Murph has been hot on the trail of those wily ducks! He recently earning his
AKC Masters title and qualifying for the Masters Invitational!

He also became the proud papa of his first litter of pups with another MH,
Rosemary's Sexton's Nova. Those pups were probably born hunting!!

Eire IWS is very proud of our young boy Murph and congratulates his owner
Chris Meurrett.

Murph recently qualified for the Master National. The website with
information on this prestigious hunting even is

Moira - Eire's Lass of Ballinameen CD RA & - Eire's Niall of the Nine. owned by Kathy & Brendan Boyle who all live in Michigan.

Kathy writes:
"Moira has earned her Rally Advanced title, and is now taking a break from serious training.
Niall is a very sweet boy, but can be easily distracted from the task at hand. We are now in a "competitive novice" class (9/2009), which takes place while a beginning obedience class is going on in the same building.
Lots of distractions. ….as with Moira, I thought I'd start him in rally so I can
repeat commands if necessary and talk to him during the trial. It also avoids the long sit and down, which still need work.
He is our official paper boy. Once the coffee is started, Brendan says where's the paper boy? And Niall runs to the front door, accompanied by cheerleader Moira. The door is opened and we make sure there are no deer around, then we say "get the paper," and he grabs it, runs back into the house and down the hall to the kitchen, with Moira barking encouragement. He brings the paper to the cookie jar, where he delivers it to hand. Cookies for both the paper boy and the cheerleader are
awarded.
Sunday, of course, is more of a challenge. Our Sunday paper is full of advertisements and it more than twice the size of the daily paper. Plus it tends to fall apart. We usually grab part of it, roll it up and hand it to him to bring in. Once we tried to pass off a rolled up copy of an old paper, while we took care of the actual Sunday paper ourselves. He went out, sniffed the old paper and refused to pick it up, knowing it wasn't the genuine item. . .

Proudly we declare an Eire HERO IWS!

When I first saw the newspaper article I said "Wow, that looks like Joni!" A few phone calls later have proven that this PA hero dog is a Joni (Ch. Eire's Every Little Thing") daughter. Her registered name is "Eire's Kudo's to Mia". Her father is Ryker ("Ch. Beaufield's Make It So".)
We are very proud of her.
Her original owner died at a relatively young age. She has been with his extended family since then. She is now with his cousin (I believe) who works with Ian (Madelaine Dusseau's buddy - registered name "Eire's Free as a Bird" )'s former owner.
It's a small world.
Definiely Kudos to Mia!!

Kathy, Billy & all the proud relatives at Eire IWS
