Our kennel has been located in Brocton, New York, Southwest
of Buffalo along the shores of Lake Erie since 1996.
Since the late 1980's we dedicated ourselves to preserving the multi-purpose
Irish Water Spaniel. We concentrated on confirmation, obedience and hunting,
helping our Irish clowns to showcase some of their many talents. We have
had pups go onto careers in fly ball, agility and tracking as well. Our
goal was to have an "all around " IWS, one that preserves the
old fashioned dog that wouldenthusiastically perform any task required.
We started our love affir with the Irish Water Spaniel in in 1988 when we
met our lovely lad "Lucky" - Am/Can. Ch. Castlehill's Go Quadrifolio
CD JH CGC TDI. He was soon joined by "Maggie" - Ch. Poole's Ide
Wilnbris Hi Hope CD JH WC CGC TDI and, a few years later, their children
"Woody" - Ch. Eire's All Gotta Cheer CD JH CGC and "Cady"
- Ch. Eire's Amanda Go Cadence CD JH CGC.
We had many fine and interesting years of showing in the breed, obedience
and hunting. We've loved our many excellent dogs who taught us the joy of
being with their affectionate and comical personalities. However, all good
things must come to an end and we've decided to close our kennel so we can
visit family more and enjoy a simpler life.
We are now retired from breeding and showing our Irish Water Spaniels. Our
doggy group is slowly decreasing in size. We enjoy our remaining big curly
dogs as our dear companions and they will always hold a special spot in
our hearts.
We still enjoy hearing about our curly relatives out there, so drop us a
line at wphillips8@stny.rr.com or write us at our address: 5784 East Main
Raod, Brocton, NY 14716.
